A good weekend was had by James over the UGP week ..

Thursdays Challenge Race saw James bring the Inver Hire Ltd R6 home in 17th place and the PK Racing ER-6 home in 8th place.

Saturdays racing was another good day for James where he brought the PK Racing ER-6 home in 7th place. James also completed a personal best time around the Dundrod track... a 120+mph.

Great weekends racing and most importantly home safe..

James will be back in action at Killalane in September.

This week also saw James secure rides and financial assistance for 2011 again with Inver Tool Hire Ltd (Christy McCloskey) sponsoring his Yamaha R6, PK Racing (Richard Knipe and Drew Patrick) signing him on their Kawasaki ER-6 for 2011, also continued support from D&W Window Cleaning (Don and Wendy), Ballymena, and the #27 James McCann Supporters Club.

James had a great day at the Clough circuit despite very difficult track and weather conditions..

The day started for James with the Superbike race where he came home in 14th place on his Inver Hire Ltd Yamaha R6, after which was the 250GP/SS400, his first ever run on the PK Racing ER650 where he came in 6th overall and the first twin home. His second run on the PK ER650 was the Supertwins race directly afterwards saw James bring the bike home in 7th place.

Next was the Supersport race where James was showing some great pace and he took his Inver Hire Ltd Yamaha R6 home in 5th place.James's last race of the day was the Grand Final where due to lack of traction control James got a very slow start off the line but he carved his way through the field to finish in a creditable 10th place ..

The team would like to thank Richard Knipe and Drew Patrick of PK Racing for supplying James with such a well presented and prepared ER-6,all the sponsors who have helped him out so far this season, and hopes for similar results at the UGP.
